This TV spot in three languages for Verizon Wireless created as a part of Verizon Wireless’ 2011 Holiday season TV campaign for Thanksgiving. Grills lie empty, tables are deserted and kitchens are abandoned, as an answering machine informs callers where everyone has gone: they’ve rushed off to the Verizon Wireless store for the great deals Verizon is offering during the holiday season. The word is spreading!

The challenge was that we need to use the same footage across three segments Cantonese, Mandarin and Korean, so on screen talking needs to be minimal. The solution used is to emphasize the idea of you should drop everything you do and get it right away before anyone else do. To make it holiday and cultural relevant, setting of a restaurant is being used, and everyone is rushing to Verizon’s store in the middle of their meal, and a phone message recorder is used to help seamlessly interchange the language of the message.
